So im discrediting him because im pointing out the circumstances behind his rise? Notice how i dont put any merit toward the losses. Winning the lineal championship at flyweight was great, but IN MY OPINION his true rise was when he stopped barrera. I feel at that point not only was he fully grown as a man.

You have gotten very one dimensional with youre posts, im not going to stop having a mind of my own and simply state the obvious. Just because i hold a certain opinion on how he got those titles from 106 and up, doesnt mean im discredting, it just means i feel there is more to it than what the surface says. I give reasons behind my opinion, and you write it off as discrediting? Ill keep that in mind.

I don't understand the statement that is bold. What do you mean by "there is more to it than what the surface"? What is your opinion on how he got that Flyweight title?

I feel pacs early fights served as a de-facto amatuer career because of where he lived and the conditions he was in. i feel that while it was an accomplishment him getting the flyweight title, i feel moreso that his career really started when he got to 122. I dont discredit the prior achivement, but i put more stock into his career from 122 and up.

I agree with what El Jesus has said.

Just to add: I have no problem with someone giving Pac credit for winning the Flyweight title and the LWW title (and several inbetween). That's a great accomplishment. But what I dislike is when people think him weighing 106 at the age of 16 should be taken into account when considering his fight against Cotto.

Take into account that he'll weigh less than his opponent on the night. Take into account the fact that he could probably still make the LW limit. But the amount he weighed aged 16 is not all that notable, nor is it the key factor when considering what size he is now.

Ok I see your point. I was just making sure. Me personally I give him a lot of credit on how he beat Sasakul. Who was the lineal champion. So Sasakul was the #1 fighter in that weightclass at that time. And, Pac was just 19. And, in such a young age he came from behind and KO'd the legitamate veteran champ. Is very impressive IMO.

I think the Ledwaba fight at 122 put him on the map with hardcore boxing fans. And, he took that fight in like 2 weeks notice or something like that. And, Ledwaba was the #1 fighter in that weightclass at that time.

And, the Barrera fight at 126 was P4P entry level fight. And, Barrera was #1 guy at that weightclass at that time.

In his first 4 divisions he fought and beat the #1 guy. That to me is impressive.
