No one again in the history of boxing would able to do what had pacman done from 112lbs champion upto 140lbs lineal championship, especially if he win his bout against cotto. Never ever will it happen again. Maybe in the next thounsand years or so.

Which one is it? Make your choice, he was either a mature adult fighter when he lost to Torrecampo and the other dude or he was simply too young so it doesn't make him that much of a smaller man. Like another poster said, Cotto was 106 pounds too when he fought in the amateurs, in the 90ies. He lost to Calderon at this time.

Pacquiao carried his power to 147 and is a legit Welterweight top fighter. Period. I think he's a top 8 WW.
How is Pac a legit WW when in his last fight he weigh-in at 138? And, what make you think Pac is a top 8 WW? What top 10 WW has Pac beaten? What WW has Pac beaten?

Fact Pac was a 16yrd old kid fighting grown men as a pro. That is not easy to do. Pac at age 20 was a Flyweight. How much did Cotto weigh at 20yrs old? Bro Cotto is naturally the bigger guy. The way bigger guy.

this is exactly what I said in last week's interview on TMZ glad to see people acvtually paid attention and not just flicked me off and changed the channell.

and back on point, im sick of hearing of Pacquiao's weight back when he was a teenager. I want to see a good performance from both Cotto and Pacquiao while I sit front row and have a drink or two.

So beating Cotto makes him the lineal champ at 147?

it would be a great win no doubt but that would not make him lineal at 147

So then it should be an even fight because Manny is like 2 years older than Cotto that means Cotto was 13 maybe weighing 98 pounds when Manny was 15 weighing 106.
Manny will be in the 150's on fight night. Just like Cotto will be in the 160's range
