It is a big deal. Nobody has ever done it. There have been plenty of fighters that began fighting at age 15 and not be able to do what Manny has done.

When are you going to put Hummingbird on an album?!!

You could just release the Soundstage performance with Buddy Guy...that version of Hummingbird is the best!

The only time anyone mentions Manny having been a 106 lber is when they're countering arguments of PBF not having to fight WW's because he came from a smaller division also, i.e. Pac is an ex 106 lber fighting Cotto at WW before PBF would.

If ur gonna give Pac credit for what he did way back then, then we can still about those KO losses

The funny double standards is that pro-Pacquiao/or Cotto haters say he was 106pounds as an excuse for him losing to Cotto whereas they say his 2 first losses happened when he was a baby.

Which one is it? Make your choice, he was either a mature adult fighter when he lost to Torrecampo and the other dude or he was simply too young so it doesn't make him that much of a smaller man. Like another poster said, Cotto was 106 pounds too when he fought in the amateurs, in the 90ies. He lost to Calderon at this time.

Pacquiao carried his power to 147 and is a legit Welterweight top fighter. Period. I think he's a top 8 WW.
