    interesting fight

This is an interesting fight because It's a battle of a true welterweight vs. a man coming up in weight. i've read a lot of these blogs and different experts opinions, and the one major factor which has not ben mentioned is the fact Pac has continually improved in his last five fights, while Cotto has not. He didn't look good vs. Clottey, (a fight he lost) and Tony's pressure, destroyed him. There is no way to train for speed. When he realizes the speed of Pac, he will understand the punch which hurts the most is the one you don't see. Pac throws combinations, while Mosely didn't in his loss to Cotto. I got Pac by unamimous decision, and if he presses the fight he wins by KO.

        I mean,Naaz said it before.
Manny isn't small in order to make the fight with BIG SSM happening.

By doin that,he's diminishing Manny's accomplishments.
Hatton is a small super lightweight, don't be fooled.
Against a real welter,Manny is A MIDGET,it needs to got some superman habilities for Manny to beat a skilled 147 beast like Cotto.

If Manny beat Junito,it's one of the biggest win of history.
Above the Duran's win over Barkley.

It's not because it's Cotto or Barkley,it's because Duran and Manny were coming from so smaller weight classes, with so smaller frame, and Cotto and Barkley are ****in game.

People forget Manny didn't win titles at super flyweight and Batamweight,if he had,he would fight for a title in a 9th division.

Manny is comin from ****in flyweight,1 ****IN division lower than where ****in Darchynyan is fightin.

I think people don't realize what challenge Manny is takin, what a career he has,and Cotto is top 10 P4P hands down.

Cotto did not gas out in any of those fights, why? Both of them were small fighters, Cotto did gas out against Margo and Clottey, huge fighters for the welterweight limit, guess what Pac is at 147? Cotto will not gas out in this fight and will inflict a lot of punishment, Pacman will give him troubles and wil do some damage as well, but he will not be able to fight coming forward and he is not naturally a slick defensive fighter, he does not know how to fight going backwards, has never been in a situation where he needs to change his game plan, and the only one that came close to that he lost it, which was the first Marquez fight, yeah, yeah in paper he won, but in reality he lost, at least IMO. Cotto has been kind of quiet and in secluded training for almost 3 months, that has to mean something, the outcome don't know since I can predict the future, but I am going with the fighter that I've seen face adversity, punishment, brawls, hall of famers, huge gashes, visited the canvas and got up to win, and fought the fighters that nobody else would in Margarito and Clottey, and that is Cotto by late TKO maybe in rounds 9 or 10.
I read many posts on thsi fight lately and this was the best one, I've read what in my opinion were two really good ones, I forgot who wrote the other one, lol. Good to see you around Benjamin2004 how is your brother doing? I will be ringside for the fight, lol. Look for me btw. Honestly I saw your name after I read what you wrote, good stuff.

Cotto knows how to handle speed. Jab in your face and perfect timming ala Mosley fight.

I mean first couple of rounds I see Manny hitting Cotto a lot but nothing that will hurt him; after the 3rd or 4th round I see the fight changing in Cottos favor. TKO around 8 or 9 Cotto wins.

Agreed. But isn't Manny faster than Sugar Shane?

Pacman always in trouble during their 2 fights with JMM and JMM is a better fighter than Cotto. The only difference between the two is Cotto is a stronger fighter (no doubt because of his weight). But I really can't see Cotto can give Pacman a problem like what JMM did. Pacman is now a complete fighter unlike his last fight with JMM. He is so mature and can easily adjust to any kinds of style. And I am really sure Cotto can't hit the Pacman. yes he can in a later rounds but sad to say this won't last long. Even if he has a very strong punch but the thing is, you can't hurt what you can't hit.
