Remember that KT was still somewhat young, he fought a man in Vince Phillips that night and he gave Vince a pretty goo beating that night, problem was that a fighter like Vince Phillips at that stage in his career was willing to go to hell and back to win, and thats exactly what he did.

There is no way that PBF is willing to do that, there is just no way!
What are you talking about? Zoo was almost 27 years old. How can you say that Floyd isnt willing to go to hell and back. He's an undefeated #for# fighter who has fought some of the best.

There is also a big difference between what the fans want and what they get. Fighters want to please the fans, but boxing is still a business. If you win, business is good. If you lose, the big fights fade away, and so does the money.

Mayweather's far enough along in his career where he doesn't have to worry about his fans as much. He has them. Instead, he has to worry about getting the big fights, and that means sticking to with what works: solid boxing skills + solid defense = wins.

Training may somewhat transform Mayweather into a more offensive fighter, but when it comes down to it, instinct is what takes over in a fight. Some people are aggressive (Gatti) and some are defensive.

If he loses his fight with Gatti because he tries to get into a huge brawl, it doesn't matter if the fans are pleased.

Man you must dont know Floyd. The number 1 thing he cares about is money. Boxing works but now his contract is up. He wasnt filling up the seats because he wasnt exciting and now you see HBO isnt trying to give Floyd **** but chump change. Sure he could still get big fights, but the difference is if he brawls and the fans like it then more people will come to his fights and more people will by PPV. He could have a big fight now for 3 million but if he brawls then he could have that same fight for 6 million and so on and so on. Why do you think Gatti makes all that money. Besides people assume that if he brawls then he will get KO. I dont agree. You can still box without moving so much. He will still have that great Defense, great hand speed, and great accuracy. Floyd will still dominate Gatti going toe to toe. People make to big of a deal about the Corley fight. Chop is a lefty. You could have your D perfect and they still hit you right on the chin. It's not the power that hurts you. It's the unexpecting. Pac Man doesnt hit as hard as people think. It just hurts way more cause he's a lefty. I saw Barrera fight like he always does. When Pac swung Barrera side stepped perfectly but because he's a lefty he hit Barrera right on the chin. Samething in the Marquez fight. Thats how Sanders ruined Wladimire. Its hurts way more because either you dont see it or you see it and you have perfect D and they still hit you on the chin

Like you said, brawlers like Gatti may get more money and are on PPV...but when they lose because they don't box, then it all goes away.

I would love to see Mayweather and Gatti have non-stop action...don't get me wrong. And I know Mayweather wants his money, but he has to be worried about losing and not getting any. Not that he is going to lose against Gatti...

This fight is going to be very interesting, I would pick Gatti to win by Ko/TKO, otherwise, it's Pretty Boy by decision.

Yeah I'd love to see it ... They better make it through their "tune-up" boughts. I'd go with Floyd by UD but would love to see a KOs by either fighter.
