I would ide to see Bernard in a fight where you knew his opponenet was coming at him to hurt him, ie-Tarver, Calzaghe, LAcy)I am afraid that this will never happen. Floy has a loss in my book, there is no way he got the dedison against JL Castillo the first time, I think Floy could rip up a lot of the 140 division however I think KT is not someone that he will call out. Forget about the networks not allowing thqat fight for a second. KT is the best ofgfensive fighter in the divsion, not question! He is bigger, faster stronger than Castillo as well. Floyd still strougled with Castillo the second time around, there is little chance in my mind that he beats KT. Anyone else he has too be the favorite.

Again you are dead on about fighters like Floyd taking risks, many people on this site talk **** about Floyd, Zab, Fernando, Oscar, Tito, Jones Jr, MAyorga, Mosley etc. They ***** and moan when these guys move up in weight and are not as effective ( I am guilty at times as well). The simple fact is that these guys wanted to test there limits, do things that few have ever done before...not too mention give the fans what they desire!!!

Bernard Hopkins is a great fighter no doubt about it, however his biggest victories in the ring are against guys that were taking that risk that you mentioned, these fighters who take the risks should be treated a bit more fairly than those champions who never take risks. I still rate BHOP above Floyd, but if Hopkins's next major fight (not including Eastman)is against a Winky Wright than I will have no choice but too replace him with Floyd.
Great post, but Floyd's next opponent is a "play it safe" move, he's fighting Henry Bruseles, I'm not saying that the guy isn't a talented fighter, but I think Floyd is just on another level when it comes to skill vs. that guy. I will however replace PBF with Hopkins on my p4p list if he pasts Gatti, not saying that Gatti is talented enough to make a big impact on Floyd's p4p rank, but he is a name, with some pretty good fights under his belt..

Depends what you mean by dominating. I can say that he dominates fights even though he doesnt overwhelm his opponents with his power. He's close to pitching shutouts in his fights. That's dominating for me.

What do you mean by this?

Remember that KT was still somewhat young, he fought a man in Vince Phillips that night and he gave Vince a pretty goo beating that night, problem was that a fighter like Vince Phillips at that stage in his career was willing to go to hell and back to win, and thats exactly what he did.

There is no way that PBF is willing to do that, there is just no way!

PBF will outbox Gatti, but it won't be a huge blowout. Gatti has improved, but not enough skills to take out PBF.

Also, Gatti, who has made fights more difficult than they should be, still has to get passed JJL, who isn't completely done yet.

He and PBF should both win though, as long as they don't look ahead to June. Hope this fight happens because everyone wants it.

well if its a ppv lets not forget mayweather said he wont fight boring anymore, which means he will try to knock gatti out or make it into a war, and if its a war. And if its a war i think gatti has a very good chance of winning.

What he says and what he does will be two completely different things.

I don't see why he would change his style, which has been so successful. I don't even think he can reprogram his style to become more entertaining anyways. If he starts brawling with Gatti, and is losing, there's no way he won't return to his boxer style.

Besides, to boxing fans who appreciate a solid "boxer," PBF fights are always entertaining.

Floyd will not be boxing anymore like he use to. His father raised him be a defensive fighter, but his uncle Roger is a offensive teacher and Floyd has finally broken threw. It takes a while to get offensive after you have been defensive your whole life. It's a hard transition, but now that transition is complete and I think he likes being more offensive. If you think he's going to be moving alot against Gatti then your crazy. This will be his 1st PPV fight, and if he doesnt give the fans what they want then it will be his last, but he knows if he goes toe to toe he can become a attraction that he could even take some of Gatti's fans for his next PPV event.
