over at *********.com there's an interview with arum... in it, he states as long as they win their next fights, gatti will be facing floyd in june in a "blockbuster" fight... i can't help but think that gatti has no chance.... i seem to recall ivan robinson boxing his ears off twice and since that time they haven't let gatti near another "boxer"... i'm sure gatti will come in huge(150 lbs) the night of the fight and i'm sure mcgirt will have him ready, but will that be enough???

Floyd will beat Gatti. Floyd is too slick and good in every single department. Floyd will outbox him and bust him up. I respect Gatti's heart and toughness but Floyd is the real deal. Floyd - Tszyu is the fight i want to see.

Tszyu might be to much for Mayweather depending on how well Mayweather can move....

Mayweathers HBO contract is up so who knows if he will resign or not...He doesnt want to....


Gatti is facing Leija in January and Floyd will fight in february and then the two will "supposedly" face off in June in a mega fight.

Mayweather isint even a legit light welter yet has he fought at the weight like twice or something. Gatti has improved under McGirt. Who knows it will be interesting if it takes place.

Yes, Floyd is more skilled, but If Gatti hurts him he will finish him unlike these punks who have hurt Floyd in the past and let him off the hook. I hope Gatti knocks his ass out.

Saying that, i bet this fight never even happens. I dont trust Arum or any other promoter on their word. It means nothing.

Do they have a location, or are they speculating? I know Gatti was saying how he'd love to stage this one in Montreal. Wishful thinking, I'm sure, but I live a couple of hours away so that would just be incredible .

This fight is a real bung, how many people actually think it will be close? Floyd will kick Gatti's ass just like Cotto, Tyszu and Hatton would - it would be closer if you put Mitchell in with Gatti becuase Mitchell couldn't hurt a fly, and Gatti over the course of the fight might actually be able to conect with a punch or two.

The point is its about time Floyd fought the best in the division if he's going to keep claiming that he is the best in the division.

that seems to eliminate two big fights for Tszyu I was wanting to see...leaves him Corrales and Spinks as two other big fights. STill, interesting to see how this fight turns out, although I see Mayweather ****ing out a decision with a tough hard fight for him.
