After seeing viewership of over 4 million per episode for the Mayweather 24/7, Pacquiao-Cotto has failed to crack the top 20 cable programs.

In addition to low ratings for the initial showing (under 2 million viewers), VOD viewership was also low.

The highest-rated cable program was ESPN's Monday Night Football with 13.5 million viewers. ESPN also won the Saturday night ratings race with the Florida/Mississippi State game (5.7 million viewers).

I will post the second episode ratings when they come out.
Gee, how is this possible since Pacquaio is ten times more popular and ten times the fighter that Mayweather is, according to the posters on this site? If Mayweather/Marquez drew an average of 4 million, Pac/Cotto should be drawing at least 6 million since both of them are such big draws and such great fighters. This is especially true since the Pac/Cotto promotion has lasted two months longer. Gee, what does this say about Pacquaio's appeal?

Um, no . It isn't. And it wasn't disparaging - it was fact.
There is not international outcry against the consumption of chicken.

The Philippines actually tried to pass a law (after international pressure) to get people to stop abusing and eating dogs. And they still do it.

Big difference between chicken and dog. Even you have to admit that.

Funny how you took offense to the dogmeat issue, but the Panyit who called me an ****** and racist is A-OK. Interesting.

This sounds like another excuse. If Pac is so much more popular, then he should be drawing bigger numbers on the promotion show. I wonder what will be your excuse when the fight doesn't do as well in PPVs as Mayweather/Marquez? Probably something along the lines of "it was a lot more exciting than Mayweather/Marquez."

To be fair, The Pac/Cotto promotion and the May/Marq promotion were the same length.

May/Marq: Announced in may, fight in sept...4 months

Pac/Cotto: Announced in July, fight in Nov....4 months

            Always objective here.

If the situation were reversed, you would have been the first one to post a thread using this information to discredit Mayweather. He is just playing the "hater's game" and he is doing it better than the haters.

I have no problem with that. Good point.

It was fact? There was a spread of lechon, kare kare, pancit and other traditional foods and you asked which one was dog meat! You didn't state fact, you blatantly injected a racial stereotype (racism) to get a reaction.

Yes there's a big difference in the animals but the fact that you used a racial stereotype to insult a poster and refusal to own up to your own words is why you are a racist in my book. Hell in this very thread you denied my request of proof to your claim simply because I'm Filipino. You need to take a long look in the mirror buddy because you obviously are prejudice.

What difference does that make? The haters on this site have been saying all along that Pac is more popular than Mayweather. NO ONE has said "Pac is more popular than Mayweather, except in the USA." The haters were INCLUDING the USA. You are starting to sound like Bob Arum and Freddy Roach with the excuses now.
