HBO 24/7 ratings are significantly down with Pacquiao/Cotto.

By the way, I almost got a new dog, and was set to name him Barrow.

I feel that he fought too cautious overall. He turned it up at points later, but if he really wanted to get JMM out of there I think he could have.

It's like he was on a racetrack coasting at 80 when he could have topped it out at 150.

And yes, I love that avy too...

I can't speak for anyone else mate. I understand hype is all about seducing casual fans. I'm just saying it's not surprising if this edition of 24/7 is not taking off because the personalities of the men fighting aren't ones for banter. That means less buys, but it will not change the minds of those who do love boxing already.

Al Haymon, do you mind posting a link to the data? I can't seem to find where your pulling these numbers from in publicly available sites.

If I remember correctly, PBF/JMM viewership was bad the first couple of episodes until JMM drank his piss then it took off.

Let's be realistic if PBF/Hatton couldn't no way does two non-English speaking clowns
WTF are you talking about? Cotto's fight against Margarito tops anything Pac or Floyd did without DLH or Hatton as the opponent (except the Floyd/JMM fight). JMM/Pac II did 450k, Cotto/Marg did 500k. Yes, PBF/JMM did 1 million and I'm not here to say Mayweather isn't a draw, he's proven he is. However, Cotto has shown nothing but growth in his numbers. Judah/Cotto 200k, Mosley/Cotto 250k, Cotto/Margarito 500k and this fight is certainly within reach of hitting 1 million. Cotto has more than enough fans to bring big money to fights, and behind PBF and Pac, he's the next biggest draw in boxing.

And PBF/Hatton did about 1.2 million, Pac/Hatton did about 900k. If you're wondering why it didn't break 1 million its most likely because Hattons star had massively diminished after the Floyd fight. He damn near lost to Lazcano and looked like garbage against Paulie. Also, while neither guy may be American it really doesn't matter... the US is a melting pot with millions over Filipino's and Puerto Ricans here. Add the amount of people watching from other countries and you're looking of at least 1 million buys just from people from their countries. Paq has a ton of mainstream appeal now this fight will surpass Mayweather/Marquez in buys.

              .
I have never believed that number. It was not released, and that figure came from Arum - who is notorious fo inflating his figures.

              Nonetheless,

Cotto was on WCB with Clottey, right?

                pbf-hatton: 950K

                pac-hatton: 850k

                pac-jmm: 405K

How ironic you took the time to add that respose but you've yet to provide data to support your original post. Is it possible your cherry picking averages (including the last 2 episodes to boost pbf's ratings) or exaggerating the differences in the numbers (you only say cotto/pac is significantly less, no numbers)

Actually, i have been subject to a lot of insults and nonsense from you Filipinos. Non-stop. So, i'm not even going to engage with you.

You are welcome to believe (or not) what you will.

Yea, I was going to reply to his response but the second I saw him say "Thats what Arum said" I knew it was a lost cause. He gives me numbers, and of course I have to believe what he puts, I give him a number that matched everything he's found and his reply is "I don't believe it." Not even worth my time.
