Maybe Paul Williams should try to get a fight with James Kirkland and have the match set up in the pen. Lol.

$650000 is a decent paycheck & clottey is not a big draw.he should take the $ & if he wins it puts him in a solid position for future title fights.the money will come but he needs to keep fighting great fighters to get recognized.beating williams would be huge for him.

These guys wolf that ****, but when it comes time to throw down, P-Will has got em shook. The only guy who really wants the fight is Dzinziruk.
        Keyword: 160

Martinez doesn't fight at 160, so he should be given extra compensation for moving up to a new division.

Williams weighed in at 158 against Winky after having breakfast. If they want the fight at 160 it'd be bull**** in the first place.

Kirkland went to jail on purpose to avoid Williams.

That would easily draw 50k inmates, they would get at least 1 million stogies and 500k ramen soups each.

I remembered and then found an interview where Clottey flatly stated that he fights at 147 and is comfortable there (he was asked about fighting Sergio Martinez). I don't know how uptight the mods are about links to other boxing sites so I won't link right now.

How much does Clottey think he should get? He's not a champ or a big
money fight and in all actuality, Paul Williams is giving Clottey an
opportunity to get up in the sport by fighting him. THat's what's wrong
with Boxing now. THese guys be thinking their bigger than what they
really are. The only mega stars in Boxing is Floyd, Pacquiao and
the Klitschos. Not saying Clottey should take the first offer but he is
the type of fighter that have to weigh his options. I would say $750's
would be good but a Mil? NO WAY! Clottey hasn't bubbled in the sport
yet and doesn't have a title.

Paul can roll out of bed and take 8-9 rounds from Clottey.

HBO cannot and will not put pressure on Mayweather because Floyd
just had a fight AND he makes too much money for them to be trying
to force him to fight Paul Williams AND probably wouldn't have enough
$ to get him in the ring. Shane Mosley has already stated that he
doesn't want it with Paul AND December would be too short of time
for Mosley to get ready for that challenge. I say Clottey should take
the 650K and get in the ring with Paul since he was always claiming
Paul was ducking him. It's funny to me because guys use the term
ducking loosely in Boxing because once a fighter wants to fight them
then the $ situation comes into play. If Clottey really wanted it he
would have took the 650k and showed the world what he can do.
If either Paul or Sergio want it with Paul, a fight on December 5th
                      should happen.
