Its easier to turn it down when you know your opponent needs a name opponent asap. Not suprised he is trying to get as much as possible given the circumstances.

        Ny,

YOU said that it was a low-ball offer. YOU said that.

So tell us what Clottey made in his last fight. A fight he lost where he wasn;t the draw.

If you can't tell us what Clottey has been making, then how do you know what is a low-ball offer?

        What did he make?

dont know do you but i do know when you are negotiating in buisness you dont usually throw out your highest offer first do you know how much clottey made? why would clottey constantly call out williams to then duck him if he was scared he wouldnt have mentioned his name on numerous occasions

clottey isnt a real fight now? he gave cotto hell looked much sharper then margs before the hand injury and would have won against baldomir if not for the dq not to mention beating judah. clottey is a good win on williams resume and i would give him full credit for the victory this guy has never been dominated

You don't know. But you are making statements about "low-ball offers" when you don't know.

What if I told you that it was a FAIR offer based on Clottey's earnings history? What if I told you that it was a GENEROUS offer based on Clottey's earnings history?

you obviously dont know how much he made either but for the 3rd time in buisness you usually dont throw out the highest number first with a user name like al haymon i think you would know that. my question to you is why would clottey call p. williams out on multiple occasions when williams never has mentioned his name and then go and duck him

Clottey is a prick for turning 600k down. He has no business asking for more than that coming off a loss. People say Paul doesn't draw, Clottey is much less of a draw than Paul. This would be a good fight for Paul, and a fight I think he would win pretty easily. At this point, I'm expecting somebody in the fringe of the top 10 @ WW or JMW to be Paul's opponent. Nobody else is willing to step up.
