Your wrong the steroids made him look slow. He looked good when he fought Ike And Tito fast and strong he would have done better without steroids but everyone makes bad decisions learn to live with them.

My point is that Vargas was doing great against DLH and was really dominant when he put him against the ropes.

Vargas biggest problem is he gets to excited and burns alot of his stamina on pointless punches thats what he did to de la hoya he landed **** as when he foguth tito he landed lots of pretty punches which cause Low Blowing Tito to foul.

Fernando Vargas said himself that he was looking to try something new. Perhaps the best decision wasn't to turn a pro-fight into a sparring session, but he didn't do half-bad.

I'll say this again -- Give him a few fights before you jump the gun and claim the man is shot. You can't even say that this bout is a reflection of the negative results incurred during his bout against Trinidad, because he has taken an entire year off. He's a different fighter, wait and see. That's not to say that he is going to be a legendary competitor, it just means to wait before you go throwing assumptions out and making an ass out of yourself.

He's right, Vargas did look slow and like garbage. It was close because Oscar wasnt no better. That was the most overhyped fight in history. The crowd was going crazy at everything they were doing but they werent even landing half the time and the ones that did land werent that flush. You could tell that Oscar was going downhill in that fight also
