You guys keep talking about tonight and Joval's style but his last fight was the same way. This guy is shot and he knows it. Yes, Vargas knows it. He is so unconfident in the ring

well i don't think he looked that great either, but i'm not willing
      to say he's totally shot.
I hope he makes a strong comeback.

Whatever man... Ya Vargas can get knocked down, that was proven in his prime. He is a powerful fighter and a great competitor though and does not give up.

All of you keep talking about tonight but this is the same as he looked before the injury. He will not get better no matter how much he fights. He will only get worst and I am worried about his health. I think if he doesnt stop he could end up being a punch drunk boxer. He is starting to blink alot in the ring and doing other things

"This guy is shot. I think a pre Tito Vargas wouldve beat Oscar because he was also declining at the time.

Im not here to dog him because I liked him alot and I thought he couldve been great but they moved him too fast and I think he is ruined. He will never even come close to beating a top fighter again..."

You are an idiot, and this is coming from someone who would have enjoyed seeing Vargas get his ass kicked tonight.

I don't know if this is sincere because I don't know if you are really a fan of his. The same argument is used by people who hate Wladimir. I say unless there is a situation like Holyfield, you let the fighter keep fighting as long as he wants.

To be honest, he looked pretty bad tonight. I'm not sure if it was Joval's awkwardness or Vargas's rust, but he looked very ordinary.

A knockout would have been nice, but not expected. His more familiar style would have most likely produced one, but then again his old style might have given Joval further openings that otherwise wouldn't have been there.

Every time things started to look tasty for Vargas, the bell cut it short.

Let's hope Vargas got more out of that fight than we did.

Vargas could stand uncovered for 10 rounds and not get knocked out by Joval. My 90 year old grandmother punches harder then Joval. However I dont think Vargas even tried for a knockout. This fight was a statement that he truly is trying to change for his career and his health.
