    Vargas gets KO from 147-160

This guy is so shot and if you cant see that then there is something wrong with you. I get sick hearing Merchant and all of them saying all this good stuff about him. Joval looked horrible. Vargas is now garbage and will get KO by Hopkins, Taylor, Sturm, Tito, Winky, and Eastman. If he moves back down to 154 like he plans, then he will get KO by Ouma, Mayorga, and Forrest and would lose a easy decision to Spinks. If the top guys from 147 move up like Zab, Cintron, Margarito, Shane, and Oscer, they will all knock him out.

I said this a while ago and some agreed that he was shot and some didnt. I also said that Tito ruined him and most thought that Oscar ruined him but thats bull ****. This kid was a great fighter before and during the Tito fight. He took too much punishment in that fight, especially down the stretch. Every fight since then he has looked like ****. Even the fights before Oscar he was looking bad and every fight he looks worst. Oscar wasnt even hitting him that hard. This guy is shot. I think a pre Tito Vargas wouldve beat Oscar because he was also declining at the time. I saw his last fight against Marshall who himself was shot and sounds like Meldrick Taylor now sounds, and I thought the guy had a chance to beat him.

Im not here to dog him because I liked him alot and I thought he couldve been great but they moved him too fast and I think he is ruined. He will never even come close to beating a top fighter again and I think he will be KO by any of them except for Spinks but he would still lose a one sided fight to him

Im telling you that if he doesnt stop soon that he will end up like a punch drunk boxer. He is now starting to blink alot and other things. He better stop soon or it will be bad for him

Vargas was clearly rusty but has power and now technique and I think could return to the top ONLY at 154 though.

He didnt have technique. He was just fighting one of the most uncoridinated fighters in boxing. If he fought anyone else tonight he wouldve lost

Lighten up. He fought a legitimate top 15 middleweight in his first fight back in over a year. He could have taken the easy road back like Tua and Toney and fought people who aren't even in the top 100. Yeah he needs to improve on a lot of things if he ever steps up to fight a top middlweight, but under the current circumstances I thought he looked pretty good.

I think you might be jumping the gun just a little bit. I dont think Vargas looked that bad. If he had just fought a more aggresive fight, he couldve hurt Joval more frequently.

with that said. Joval looked like he was fighting underwater from round 1. I mean that guy is very, very slow. Since he was fighting at Lt. Heavyweight tonight anyway(unofficial weight at fight time was 175), I'm gonna compare him to a very poor mans, slower Glen Johnson. a very busy fighter with limited power. but to describe Joval in a word: slow

ya well it didnt really look like Vargas was use to the sloppy style of boxing joval presented. Maybe he was confused, but I believe I said ONLY at 154 would he return to the top.

No man, this isnt about the opponent, its about him. You can just tell that he is no where near the fighter he was pre Tito. I dont even think he can take a punch from anyone with a solid punch. This guy is finished

I wasn't expecting him to be the fighter he was pre Tito after such a long layoff and such a serious injury, and I don't know why you are.
