You realize Hopkins was never an HBO fighter until recently right. He never even had a solid promoter, and would go from network to network, prmoter to promoter so that he could reach the accolades he is at today.

What else do you expect, his fights are an insomniac dreams. And I still don't get the accolades, he's far from being an entertaining fighter, he hardly fights and all he does is prevent others from beating him up.

You're not, but MOST Hopkins fans are racist, Bhopreign and BEEHOP being the two most obvious examples.

That includes the poster who made the Kessler thread.

Thats two posters, that doesn't mean most bhop fans are.

Speaking of the poster that made that thread, just because he thinks Kessler is overated doesn't mean he's racist.

He is simply saying that he doesn't think Kessler is as good as what people make out, I don't see anything wrong with that.

Regarding your thread, it is a awful comparison to his one.

Hopkins is one of the best fighters of this era who holds wins over the likes of Trinidad, DLH, Wright, Pavlik, Tarver, etc. Hopkins was the underdog against Trinidad, Wright, Tarver and Pavlik and was in his 40s when he beat Tarver, Wright and Pavlik.

He is a 2 division champ (middleweight and light heavyweight) and reigned as middleweight champ for 9 years defending his title 20 times and unifed all the titles at 160.

Kessler is a two time super middleweight champion who holds wins over Andrade, Beyer and Mundine.

see, there is no comparison at this stage.

I ain't denying that Kessler has got skills though, he will likely win the tourney imo also.
