They both struggled with each other to be honest.

Calzaghe struggled early with Hopkins movement and counter punching and Hopkins struggled late with Calzaghe's pressure and high workrate.

Calzaghe is an awesove fighter, I rooted for him in all of his fights (except Hopkins). However, opinion is split on who won that fight, and ALL of press row scored it for Hopkins you can look it up if you want.

both struggled but people only point the finger at the 'Euro bum'.

people will bring up age but calzaghe was winding down and hopkins can still do it to a certain degree as he proved against Pavlik.

wouldn't mind checking that again actually.

Are you trying to say that Hopkins isn't a well conditioned athlete for a fighter in his 40's ?

Calzaghe > Pavlik, thats why. However, Calzaghe peaked in his 30s. Hopkins also peaked in his 30s. One was in his prime the other was way past it, however both are great fighters.

The only man he ever fought his own size was Tarver. All his other wins were over cherry-picked SMALLER boxers like De La Hoya and Trinidad, or over nobodies like Steve Frank and Andrew Council. He lost when he faced bona fide world-class opponents like Roy Jones Jr., unless they were little guys like Trinidad and De La Hoya.

His illegal "hold and headbutt" style while effective, is boring to watch. His character is weak - remember his racist statements about never letting "a white boy" beat him, before the Calzaghe fight?

This man is overrated and definitely NOT an ATG.
I assume you want people to pick Yes considering the No's have very subjective messages behind them lol

people will always question when any boxers peak is but i believe factors such as a foreign country, first fight at a higher weight etc hindered Joe.

Just a side note I don't and will not hate on Hopkins I must add before someone tags me with that.
