he fought DLH at a catchweight of 156 which was two pounds shy of where DLH was natural at, at that stage in his career.

Wright was a middleweight at that stage in his career and was picked as the favourite to beat Hopkins regardless of the fact that he was putting on 10 pounds, That shows you how good Wright was.

Kessler joining the tourney was the best thing he could do. Now he will actually have fighters on his record worth mentioning.

Andrade is the only fighter worth mentioning on Kessler's resume currently.
No point in arguing really. Hopkins is probably the best conditioned athlete over 40 in the world, and they say he is overrated and can beat guys he can father.

Well if he's overrated I feel bad for Pavlik, who could barely touch him, and Calzaghe who struggled all night long against a 43yr old has been and never will be.

It would be the equivalent of Calzaghe fighting B-hop when b-hop was a champion at 160 or Jermain Taylor or Pavlik etc. Those would have all be great wins for Joe.

Actually bernard's case was even better than that since Oscar was at 154 and they fought at 156, and Trinidad was ALREADY a middleweight CHAMPION.

So Hopkins vs Trinidid would be like Calzaghe beating Arthur Abraham if Abraham won a belt at 168.

Damn i forgot how accurate compubox is.

Reserve the Hopkins - Wright decision immediately.

jokes aside, you just stated it was a robbery against Wright but said you would of been fine if the scorecards have favored Hopkins by 115-113.

To them Calzaghe is an ATG, when he lost in many people opinions (Including ALL of press row, which included the British) to Hopkins. Not to mention Calzaghe was at the pinnacle of his career and Hopkins was so past it he couldn't see his prime in the rear view mirror.

and to think what you post is usually is okay apart from when hopkins and calzaghe is involved.

The clash of heads in round 3 was accidental, it was clear when you watch the replay that Wight came rushing in with punches and thats how there heads clashed.

A clash of heads is common when a southpaw fights a orthordox fighter.

Don't make out it was intentional just to suit your biased ways.
