  • the p4p list challenge

the three p4p lists im including in this pool are boxingscene's, ringmagazine's, as well as my personal p4p list...

granted, this is just for fun...its all about personal opinion...i personally just dont see how people still have pac (my favorite fighter) above floyd at this point, considering the fact that pac is figting cotto at a WW catch weight and obviously fighting floyd next if he beats cotto...daunting task, IMO...

would seem pretty embarrassing to me, if i got paid to make boxing p4p lists and my no. 1 got dominated by my no. 2, especially when most boxing fans thought the no. 2 was better than the no. 1 anyways...ah well...

please take all rankings into account...for example, if you disagree with #4#king's ranking kessler no. 10, keep in mind that boxingscene has the elderly wonder bernard hopkins as no. 3 overall...the higher the ranking, the more important the placing, obviously...

    anyways, here they are:

    boxingscene:
    1. manny pacquiao
    2. floyd mayweather jr.
    3. bernard hopkins
    4. shane mosley
    5. paul williams
    6. chad dawson
    7. miguel cotto
    8. juan manuel marquez
    9. ivan calderon
    10. hozumi hasegawa

    ring magazine:
    1. manny pacquiao
    2. floyd mayweather jr.
    3. shane mosley
    4. bernard hopkins
    5. juan manuel marquez
    6. nonito donaire
    7. miguel cotto
    8. celestino caballero
    9. israel vasquez
    10. rafael marquez

    #4#king's
    1. floyd mayweather jr.

I prefer Ring Magazines, although i do believe Mayweather should rank higher than Pacman, thats the only thing i agree on

pwill is a tough guy to gauge...if he has the desire to keep the weight off, which it appears he can, he can flat out dominate the middleweight division...

i lobe his punch volume and his length at this point...to be honest, i think wed all agree he's relatively unbeatable at middleweight at this point...

although id love to see an abraham-pwill fight after the super6 at middleweight...if abraham wins the super 6 -- which he wont -- that would be a mega fight...

how would you justify Floyd being #1 after being inactive for 2 years

then came back, cheat thru the scales & beat a LIGHTWEIGHT?

                simple really...hes a welterweight...pac is a welterweight (now)...

floyd is longer, faster, more talented, heavier, stronger than pac...pac has more balls...

dont get me wrong, i love pac...but he and freddie both are going to whatever than can do to dodge this fight as long as they can...no way pac beats floyd, and this is coming from a HUGE pac fan way back to his first morales fight..

with pac, he simply doesnt have the talent to beat floyd at WW...and thats exactly what the p4p rankings are all about...

the pacquiao no. 1 p4p ranking is jerk off lip service from the boxing media to the boxing media...they want to jerk you off too for as long as they can, because theres more money in pac being no. 1 p4p...

every boxing fan knows floyd is a better WW than pac...why boxingscene and the ring dont realize that is beyond me...

you keep blabbing bout Floyd is the best WW yet he won't fight any of them

while Pac a LW/JWW is scheduled to fight one

you gotta stop drinking that kool aid

Even though its all fantasy, p4p is about perceived skill/ability not wins.....anyone could say any good fighter is wherever p4p.
