how can he be p4p if he's not even the top fighter in his weight class?

Clottey does absolutely nothing for his legacy. If Cotto loses to Pac, he doesn't either.

        Clottey only lost to

        1. Baldomir due to a very poor disqualification. He wasn't intentionally headbutting, it was just the clash of styles and the ref should have realized that. He was winning the fight by a wide margin.

        2. Margarito: Who was almost certainly using loaded gloves, so the loss is meaningless.

        3. Cotto: Who got the split decision in a very close fight. Many thought Clottey beat him by at least a few rounds and would beat him in a rematch.

So 2 of Clottey's losses are practically meaningless, and his 3rd loss was a very close split decision which could have gone either way. If Cotto and Clottey fought 10 times they'd probably win 5 each. In my opinion Clottey is basically the same level as Cotto so he'd be an excellent name on Mayweather's record.

Everybody is going in on poor Floyd and it's because he continues to he's the best but WILL NOT fight the best. So it's no ones fault but his.

All these guys had their chances and as for Shane he wouldnt even fight Floyd back then.He could have maximised his publicity and made some good money but then he also made ****** decisions.I remember Oscar giving Shane a chance to make money but Shane taking a Winky Wright fight before the Oscar fight. What was that all about,he missed a chance to make over $20m in that one fight, now he's finished and divorced and has become a bitter old man.

What I also do not understand is the fact these guys are partners in Golden Boy and I would expect them to be loaded.Judging by the way Hopkins and Mosley are jealous they are probably token partners with little reward and say in Golden Boy.
