For the people who don't know and haven't seen the whole film, most of the "training" footage of Greb consists of him joking around with an old timer named Philadelphia Jack O'Brien. There's film of Gene Tunney doing the same thing with Gentleman Jim Corbett, another old timer, and he too looks rather funny in that film, fortunately it's not the only film we have of him unlike Greb.
Willie Pep was a master-boxer and I can certainly see him rated above Greb. Greb has possibly the greatest record of any fighter which must be taken into account, even if there's no film of his fights.Comment

end thread. and they might as well be the best white fighters of all time no joke. calzaghe sucks ass really, can't even be compared with the klitschkos because these guys, boring as some say they are, have fought EVERYONE and even at 37, Vitali continues to kick ass and take names.Comment

Nothing Racial......just curious as to who others might feel were the top white fighters.
I have heard Rocky Marciano and because I love boxing I have researched his old fights, seen some of his clips, and semi-screened his opposition. After all that, I found him to be just Ok(but that's another topic)Unbeaten can be over-hyped.
Calzaghe was pretty good but he needed America sooner in his career to see where he was really at.
Personally, I think the best, most entertaining and exciting in my era had to be "The Real Rocky Balboa, Arturo Gatti. (RIP)
Honorable mentions to Vinny Pazienza, Greg Haugen, Mickey Ward,Bom Boom Mancini, Dempsey.Comment
