For the most part I don't have a problem with their rankings.

As for Mayweather being #2, who cares? He was pound 4 pound #1 for years so naturally as soon as he came back he would be in the top 10, it's subjective anyways and there are a number of places that have Floyd #1 right now.

My point on the Don king thing was that it's not just becuse of Golden Boy that they are corrupt. It's happened in the past with them. Also you've got to admit some of the fighters placed should no longer be on the list.

Other than the Don King thing, their history has been pretty outstanding considering the corrupt nature of the sport of boxing. They are still more credible imo than any boxing organization such as the WBC, WBO, etc etc etc.

Vazquez & Marquez are the only two names that are questionable, but on the other hand you can make the case they belong there since they were both ranked so highly in the past and others like bhop & shane mosley have also been pretty inactive. I don't think that has anything to do with Golden Boy and I think neither of them will be in the top 10 in the next few months.

Also, the writers are still very criticle of Golden Boy and Oscar de la hoya, if their is corruption or a bias for Golden Boy, they definitely don't show in in their articles (they actually bash Oscar often).

Being compared to somebody doesnt mean you have to be equals...

Why do you guys compare Williams to Mayweather

None of them come close to Mayweather.
Even Pacquiao is not an equal to Mayweather....

But you compare these fighters to each other because at some point
they were in similar positions weather it is weight class, rankings, etc...
and in similar circumstances weather it be they fighting the same fighter somebody else has fought.

Comparisons doesn't anything to do about being equal or better than somebody.

Comparison has to do with linking things together that share similarities..

learn some **** in your life before you want to question comparisons.

I'm pretty much talking about their rankings. Here's why:

1) They have Mayweather at number two, even though he beat a lightweight and hasn't fought a natural or bigger opponent in more than two years.

2) They have Mosley ahead of Mayweather in the welterweight rankings but not the P4P rankings.

3) Israel Vazquez and Rafael Marquez had three great fights but are they still P4P worthy? The last good opponent they each fought were each other and that was about a year and a half ago.

I think there rankings are frequently ******ed. Sometimes decent. How can Mayweather be ranked above Miguel Cotto at Welterweight? That IMO is the most absurd recent change of Ring Rankings. Mosley randomly moving up in the P4P rankings would be the second most baffling change.
