Well it is real life...do you expect either Pac or Cotto to go out of their way to do things they normally wouldn't do just to ham it up for the camera? Or for them to stage events for entertainment purposes? When Mayweather bloodied up his sparring partner behind closed doors in the last 24/7 everyone threw a hissy fit at how staged it seemed. Sure it made things more "interesting" but at what expense? A lot of viewers thought it was fake and that they were trying too hard to put on a show (same thing with the feeding the homeless scenes).
I like them. It's nice getting a perspective of things leading up to the fight. Bottom line is it's 24/7, you get a look at the goings on in both training camps. It's real life. Real life can't always be interesting 24/7.
