I'd say a B+ is appropriate if we're grading this thing.

That is about right considering it is the first episode

HBO really made this one dramatic by leaving us with a To Be Continued type ending.

Yep, not a bad way to begin the series.

Is it just me, or is Cotto extremely boring in this thing? Seriously. Just having dinner with your family and getting tats on your arm? All those distractions in Pac's camp like the typhoon and that altercation between Gacal and Kontz is what made the show interesting.

That very may well be to persons expecting fireworks and flash. but then again the entertainment he is supposed to give is in the ring not in a reality tv show, so I don't care. But either way it think it was decent enough from both sides for a first episode, lets see what the rest will be like.

What a welcome change to read something about Manny P by a writer other than "Ronnie-Ronnie".... Where I came from a "ronnie" is a slang term for a "pencil-thin" moustache.......... as worn by gigolos and theatre doormen.

Not that it was interesting, not at all up to Cliff Rold's usual high standard, and I see that other posters saw it the same way.

I wish there was some way of shutting up the Roach. He is completely unsuited to give interviews, but that seems to encourage him.

I wish he'd talk about boxing, I mean genuine stuff, not how good he is, and how he lays down the law to his fighters. I mean, they're actually the guys who pay him the million dollar fees for a couple of months work. His little ego massages sound like an adolescent youth having a spat with his girl friend.

Hector "Macho" Comacho has a lot to do penance for, since he brought the term "macho" into common English usage.

I didn't think it was boring, just not overly interesting. One thing I really never noticed till now...when did Freddie Roach lose so much weight? That guy is thin as **** now.

No where as near bad as Calzaghe Jones.

Yea, me personally I would have liked for them to speak about what happnd with michael Moore ..they kind of overkilled with the typhoon , it got more coverage than hurricane katrina got here when it happnd.plus them mutha ****kas got help quicker than thr people from katrina hurricanr.that cat Santiago just looks like he is in for the ride. everytime I see him trying to train cotto, he doesn't have the feel of taking over the camp, just looks cotto doesn't learn anything new.
