Nobody should complain about Cotto not wanting to rematch Margarito, because we all know Margarito is afraid to avenge his loss to PWill. How come I dont hear Margarito calling out PWill? People say he's over rated but none of the WW's want it with him so he cant be that over rated. He lost to Quintana then showed everyone the right way to avenge a loss in the rematch.

That is not true he wanted to rematch P-Will after the first loss. However, P-Will was willing but first he said he wanted to get all the belts. He wanted the unify so he sought of getting the belts. That is why he chose Cintron cuz Kermit had the IBF.

Then Margarito beats Cotto. Margarito wanted the Oscar payday. Didn't get it then his plan was to fight Clottey in November. Of that year Clottey could not get clearance to fight. He suffered an injury with Judah. Then Williams offered Margarito career high payday. That Margarito did turn down you are right. I talked to Margarito manager and he told me that they wanted to built that fight up. That the plan was to fight Mosley in Januar have the rematch with Cotto on June. And, then fight Williams in December. For all the marbles. They were banking on Margarito winning and Williams having more of a name and 2 or 3 belts. So when they fought it would be for all the marbles. But, it didn't workout that way.

And, there were WWs willing to fight P-Will. Quintana wanted a 3rd fight. And, Joshual Clottey wanted the fight. You have 2 top 10 WWs right there that is willing to fight P-Will. And, he should of fought both of them. Both are better wins than Andy Kolle and Verno Phillips.

What Margarito did to Cotto is enough to warrant a rematch. He doesn't have to work his way up into anything. Cotto should atleast be thinking that he'd have to avenge that lose at some point.

Sure, Mosley deserves a rematch with Cotto. But Cotto eventually needs to fight Margarito to vindicate himself. I'd prefer to see a rematch with Shane first though.
