i was always for a rematch. there couldve been 1 but we all know what happened, but cotto should look for the rematch down the line. im still bitter on tyson never going for the douglas rematch.

Bottom line Larry is yes the majority of the cotto fans are salivating for the rematch and most believe he would prevail in a rematch. We all know his words are politcaly spoken. Theres no need to build or promote this fight. If Cotto wants to make Margarito grovel for his wrong doings its his perrogative! Redemption after an ass kicking is only for warriors and most of us know Miguel is just that. This fight is going to take place if Margarito is reinstated and thats a big if ??? If people are saying Margarito doesn't deserve a big payday they would be right. Margarito should be holding out his hat when it comes to fighting anyone. Your first statement is the exact reason why he shouldn't get a rematch, at least right away. You say "so what if he cheated, he still beat his ass." How exactly do you know that? Have you ever been in the ring? Have you ever been hit with a punch even? IF, Marg did have wraps in his hands the material is that of a cast, A CAST. Let me beat on you for 36 mins, if your a boxer its something you can deal with. Now, let me put CASTS on my knuckles and front of my fingers and let me do it again for 36 minutes. Oh, and let me break your nose within the first 6 minutes of that as well and see how you hold up.

No one can sit here and say that Marg would have still beat Cotto without the plaster, because if he was using in the fight of course it would affect him. The only people on here who think the plaster didn't make a difference are people who have never been hit, much less been in the ring. The fact is... I want Cotto to fight Maragarito again to prove this to everyone. However, there is NO WAY in hell Cotto should fight him now, especially if he beats Paq. Steriods is cheating, but there are also different levels and types of cheating. Piling up grease on your face is one thing, not much of a big deal. Mosley on roids... bigger issue, but it depends on what and how he used them. Did he use them for gaining a lot more power or for stamina purposes? Its pretty apparent it was more for stamina than it was for power. Allowing him to better himself, but not necessarily hurting his opponent. Then, you have Marg who put an additional one pound of solid material on his hands, to BEAT someone in the head. Its not because he cheated, its how he cheated and that **** sucking piece of **** has no place in the ring IMO, but I hope to god he comes back, works his ***** ass back up to where it was, or at least attempt to, and do it again. Sadly, his *****, ******y haircut and sunglass wearing ass are already saying that he was affected at 147 and needs to move up to 154, because the weight affected him during the Mosley fight. Oh really? It couldn't have been the fact that you didn't train all that much and relied solely on the ability to wrap your hands against another fighter. Tough ****, if he wants to be back in the game you better make 147 because you'll have no pull against ANYONE he faces from now on.
