All true, the fact that Paul Williams lost to Quintana and Mayweather's "So Called" lost to JLC is constantly mentioned but the rematch is never acknowledged is fucked up.

I would like for Cotto not to rematch Margarito right away. The reason is we don't know what Margarito has left. Let Margarito have 1 or 2 tune up fights. If he shows he is still the same fighter than yes rematch.

If Margarito proves he still has a granite chin and still the same fighter. The rematch needs to happen to put all the bs of him cheating to rest. Cuz if he shows his old form and still losses you know then you know he cheated. If he beats Cotto then you know is more likely he didn't have anything didn't have in his wraps the first time.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Mosley rematch though. I score the first fight a draw. He could rematch Mosley. While Margarito is taking the tune ups.

So is OK for Floyd to duck people, but others cant? STHU Larryx. Floyd ducked the **** out of margarito even before Cotto fought him. Cotto was about to rematch his as, but what happend? He got cought cheating.

Why would Floyd jump Cotto based on beating a non WW. Lets get it straight right now, Floyd should by NO means be ahead of Cotto in the WW rankings right now. P4P? Sure. But not at WW. If Cotto beats Pac and doesn't hop Floyd, that woud be a TRAVESTY.

Cotto has done significantly more at the weight. Floyd was retired for almost 2 years and came back to fight a LW. I'm fine with the Marquez fight, but that didn't warrant him hopping Cotto.

I mean, if the JMM fight had nothing to do with it, why wouldn't they have put him right over Mosley as well?

Cotto should be rank #2 regardless. Floyd has not beat a ranked WW in 3yrs. How is he over Cotto? Cuz he left #1? That makes no sense. If Lennox Lewis comes out of retirement and fight Chad Dawson. You don't rank Lewis high cuz he left #1. He needs to beat a HW to be rank that high. Floyd needs to beat a WW to be ranked that high.
