What I was saying though is if Bailey could catch Gato, I'm 100 percent sure Cotto would have no problems hitting him.

Could have something to do with Bailey being in prime physical fighting condition by that time and Cotto being in the middle of camp trying to cut weight.

Or maybe Figueroa isn't a good style for Cotto in sparring.

Gato was running like a ***** from Cotto, he probably was afraid to trade punches. That is not emulating Pacquiao because Pacquiao is going to try and win rounds.

The point of sparring is to mimick the actual fighter he's preparing for. It defeats the purpose of sparring if it's gonna be easy. Because PAC sure as hell ain't gonna be easy on 11/14.

Cotto's statements makes more sense, if someone is gonna f**k around while he's getting ready for the biggest fight of his life, then he needs to GTFO!!

In the end, who the hell knows, none of us witnessed the day Gato got the boot.
Yup you're right. I'm just mulling over the possibility that Gato might have given him problems. Maybe from running too much ... and Cotto could not cut off the ring. I don't know really. Just stating the fact that Gato was sent home after Arum's visit. I would correlate very well to what he is saying. I'm interested in what Arum has to say on this. But knowing Arum(always a promoter), it would be in defense of Cotto.

Well, do not really care that much. I'm just more inclined to believe the Gato story because of personal bias ( Pacfan first before Cottofan ) more that anything.

              Cheers.

Do I trust the word of an ******* like Gato or a respectable boxer such as Cotto? And from what I've seen of Gato against Bailey,Augustus, I was far from impressed.
