There's always three sides to a story. In this case, both are being truthful. I suspect Gato did frustrate Cotto and may have had his way at times. I also think he probably frustrated Cotto because that's not the kind of sparring Cotto wanted. He may have felt Gato was in there to out-do him instead of just doing his job and emulating the fighter he'd been asked to do. Who knows? Not sure it matters - unless Gato can actually do that to cotto in a real matcg.
