the true answer to tis poll and question is floyd- bar none---hands down---no fighter has captivated pure skill in that ring in as dominating fashion as he has down in th elittle maount of time he's done it in againts minly bigger guys---in terms of overall skill---he can't be touchedfrom offensive to defensive motions all around that ring---fighting from the ropes, inside the pockets. potshotting, throwing combinatons, ring generalship, cotrolling of his oppoenets pace, adjusting skills, ko ratio, accuracy, bringing somthing new to boxing, having his own style, being the controversial fighter he is, bringing new fansa and haters to the sport and his fights, fighting through adversity, being the fighter that all roads lead to, whether youagree to it or not, floyd is the fighter to beat, not roy jones, hopkins, pac, jmm, mosley, dlh, klits, nobody else---floyd is the leader in boxing--face it---everybody wants this kid because they want to prove thy can beat arguably the most skilledprizefighter in the history of the sport...and he keeps proving them wrong---roy jones jr was that guy---he lost----i don't care how entertaining he was---pac is up there also---but really nobody expects him to beat floyd---who are we kidding---it's all false hope with people's minds---add to this floyd still has that zero and he willnot loseit---trust and believe folks---he is the complete fighter in boxing skillwise---in every aspect of the word complete...

floyd is the best of the best---

            pacquiao...

lol at those who said pac "aint that great" cause he never fought all styles... its bull****...

he beat the best in his division/s and did it in devastating fashion. he could have fought some bum "slick american fighter" or whatever the hell you call it nowadays. does that prove anything? lol at him having to fight zahir raheem. he fought riskier opponents than him

accomplishment wise, i don't even see how it is debatable. next would be hopkins, then floyd.

There were no slick boxers for him to beat, but that doesnt change the fact we havent seen him face that style, therefore we dont know how he would fair.
Floyd has faced that style. He has faced every style, and beat all comfortably.
Pac hasnt beaten everyone in devastating fashion. JMM. Oscar was old and shot.

I dont think its about just accomplishments. Greatest boxer of our time is different to p4p champion.

Floyd has great accomplishments, plus he's undefeated, plus people believe no one will beat him.
Jones was great, but didnt face the best SMW's, or LHW'S.

If Mayweather and Pacquiao were the same size, I believe it would be an easy KO for Manny.
Floyd has beaten bigger taller, stronger men with ease. Floyd wins with speed, accuracy, timing...skill.

He was certainly good enough to fight for the title and Hopkins never wanted to face Roy again which was proof enough for me to know Hopkins knew Roy's style was going to win a rematch as well. And Roy himself was better at 168. And even if we go with Roy's amateur career...Hopkins was Prison Champ so it wasn't like he wasn't an active fighter.
                  James Toney was lazy...agree.
Ruiz was still a HW title holder and Roy was a LH who was giving up a lot of weight and strength to a man who even knocked Holyfield down...as well as Roy being a former MW Champion. The one big problem I have with all this talk of a heavyweight being "****" is that the HW could most likely beat most of the fighters in the lower-weight divisions. HW = King.
Here is something quick: Pac and Floyd are #1 and #2 P4P...but neither are beating Wlad or Vitali.
Ruiz was terrible. He didnt impose his size at all. Credit to Jones for intimidating him with his speed, but Ruiz was not a good HW. Jones would have had much more trouble with a great MW than a **** HW.

Its got to be Jones Jr, just for his sheer ability.

His speed was amazing, I've never seen anyone hit a bag that fast. To win titles in four weight classes, and to go 40 fights without loss (not counting the DQ) is an amazing fight for anyone. He beat Hopkins, Toney, Gonzalez, Woods, Ruiz, Tarver (twice), Trinidad, Sheika and Lacy, and beat everyone that came his way until that loss to Tarver. He has since won more fights since, but he needs to stop now, to keep his legacy intact. I think its getting damaged, and the fight with Hopkins that is coming (if he gets past Green) will end in disaster. Hopkins, although past prime, will brush aside Jones.

But a mention must go Tito too: how he is not on that list in ridiculous!

To beat Camacho, Campas, De La Hoya, Vargas and Mayorga and going 37 fights without losing that '0' is great.

                    Hounourable Mentions:

                    Bernard Hopkins
                    Oscar De La Hoya
                    Floyd Mayweather Jr
                    Pacman
                    Joe Calzaghe
                    Miguel Cotto
Ricky Hatton (just for the fan following)
                    Juan Manuel Marquez
                    Israel Vazquez
                    Rafael Marquez

Who the F U C K vote for PBF. How can you be the greatest of our time when you never fought at least 1 legitimate Welterweight ? When you stay at 147 and duck Margarito, Cotto, Mosley, Williams and Clottey, then you're the biggest ***** of all time. Gayweather is a douchebag.

Pac is the best of all time. How can't it be? He will start cleaning the 147 pound division and become the 1st fighter to win 7 titles in 7 different weight division.

A former Flyweight has guts to take on Welterweights when the other WW like Floyd likes to use his division to let smaller guys move up in weight.

The worst thing is he never bother making the weight against a Lightweight
