I was shocked to see that you don't even have Pacquiao in your top 5.
like i said i think matchmaking has a big role in his success, or atleast it might. hes done a great job of beating legendary fighters who all fit him stylisticly. but he never fought a zahir raheem, after raheem beat morales easily. or a guzman. and lets not forget when he moved to 135, he has nate campbell who holds 3 belts, casmayor the lineal champ, HOFer and living legend.. and pac fights diaz then leaves the division..
john david jackson said pac never fought a african american fighter and ppl said it was racist, i dont know why he brought up race which is just ignorant. but as far as the style of a slick boxer goes, hes right. pac has never fought anyone like that. weather its bcuz of matchmaking or coincidense, to be considered a great fighter u have to be able to take on all types of styles and adapt.
I look at it very similarly, its also about how you make your opponents look in the ring against average and very good opponents. I call it a toss up between roy and floyd but the close of floyd's career will be the deciding factor. I guess I would give Roy the edge right now though up until the mistake of fluctuating in weight so dramatically in a short time after the ruiz fight.
