I just can't see how you can say somebody is the greatest while there are two other guys on the list that have dominated their opposition thoroughly. Dominating other fighters that have dominated other good fighters. Pac's career is very inspiring and great but he's fought the same level of athleticism and same style for pretty much his entire career with a conservative step up in athleticism in cotto. MAB, Morales, and JMM were really good in there divisions but the most heralded victories were against each other and pac lost to morales and I and many others feel he lost to JMM twice. If pac is the greatest of our time where do those guys stand on that list.

        I voted Floyd.

        1. Because i dont think anyone out there beats him.

        2. He is the purest boxer.

        3. Jones was great but i cant ignore him getting KO'd

        4. Pac IMO was beaten twice by JMM and Morales. He hasnt dealt with the different styles that Floyd has.

Either a Prime Roy Jones jr. or Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Actually, James Toney could have been mentioned on that list but he ate his way off of it...shame.

I can: same way I can call Ali the Greatest and ignore his TKO loss to Holmes and some of his other losses after his prime. Although Ali fought everybody and beat HOF fighters after his prime...still, point is, Roy never recovered when he came back down in weight and at his age, he wasn't going to. He was also already on the decline and past his peak even when he fought Ruiz but few mentioned it before that fight happened because he hadn't lost in a very long time...which was also by DQ.

For Floyd: I'll knock him for not fighting some of the best at 147+ which makes it a toss-up right now between him and Roy.

I agree, but its more than the KO's.

He never faced anyone that great. Hopkins was green, Toney was lazy, Ruiz was ****. He doesnt have many great names on his record. Not compared to Pac or Floyd.

Its difficult to say who would win in a p4p tournament out of Roy, Pac and Floyd.

I really don't buy the "Hopkins was green" argument. He was certainly good enough to fight for the title and Hopkins never wanted to face Roy again which was proof enough for me to know Hopkins knew Roy's style was going to win a rematch as well. And Roy himself was better at 168. And even if we go with Roy's amateur career...Hopkins was Prison Champ so it wasn't like he wasn't an active fighter.
                    James Toney was lazy...agree.
Ruiz was still a HW title holder and Roy was a LH who was giving up a lot of weight and strength to a man who even knocked Holyfield down...as well as Roy being a former MW Champion. The one big problem I have with all this talk of a heavyweight being "****" is that the HW could most likely beat most of the fighters in the lower-weight divisions. HW = King.
Here is something quick: Pac and Floyd are #1 and #2 P4P...but neither are beating Wlad or Vitali.

And I see he's leading in the poll...
