Kabayel is Wbc interim. Usyk must fight him sooner or later or he loses his belt.Comment

It's a risk but i'd still think Moses would KO Dubois and by definition of how the fight would be fought...it would be a pretty early KO.

Kabayel would be unwise to choose a Dubois fight too quickly. There's a good chance Usyk vacates after Rico match, and so Kabayel gets elevated. That puts an extra 0 on the end of his next fight purse. Once he has that WBC belt, the Dubois fight would become a champ vs champ contest, so it's a much bigger event.👍 2Comment

Dubois looked slow tonight. When he brawled and got in range with Wardley, he gave away his advantage of the jab and the superior long range fighter. That's why he got dropped early. When he used his jab he was winning 90% of the round (just with that ne single weapon. His jab and his feet alone could have got him a clear lead and then he could have started dropping the bombs but he fought very emotionally and smothered his work inside where he's not that great of a fighter (his short punches are not as sharp and accurate as his longer range punches).
Wardley actually showed that he has a good jab when he would flash it but then Dubois would flash his jab and Wardley would stop using his jab. Both these guys were trying TOO hard to overwhelm the other guy without trying to slowly and consistently gain an advantage. I think that's because both were worried about each others power. That's why they were in a rush to take the momentum back when the fell a step behind their opponent.
Dubois could have fought much more intelligently but he was always trying to get his "get back". Hard punchers are some of the thoughtless fighters. Always just thinking their power is the most important weapon. That's the flaw with these big guys. It's almost like they're handicapped because of their one punch power. That makes them lazy...They don't want to work the jab to set up the finish. They want the fight to end quickly. Impatience and reckless fighting style. Their trainers should make them train to exhaustion (yet still allow lots of recovery time). They should be forced to focus mostly on just boxing technique and not so much on pure power. A big part of Usyk's strength is his focus on skill, not power.
Dubois did a LOT of wrong things in there tonight but he still managed to win. Wardley has skills that he didn't fully use also....BUT it might already be too late for Wardley after that prolonged beating. That was ridiculous. Wardley could barely keep his balance just simply standing during the last few rounds!☕ 1Comment

Wardley won a title because of chin, heart, instincts and God given power in his right hand. He has virtually zero skill or technique. My cat could have been in his corner and he'd have had the same success.
Ben supposedly watches tons of tape, huge on tape yet every time his fighter goes in there they don't even have a game plan.
Fabio made zero improvements as a fighter under Ben whatsoever. Ben gave him no real advice, he frankly should have stopped the fight rounds before but his pride wouldn't let him, he literally ruined Wardleys career in sheer hope he would pull a rabbit out of the hat as he has throughout his career. So selfish, so much ego he'd have literally let him die.
He spent the best part of 10 rounds throwing the same telegraphed right hand missing by a mile and gassing out, virtually completely ineffective with it after the 3rd round knockdown.
7 more rounds of this and not once did this supposed great trainer tell him to aim at the chest or how to set it up or to change the trajectory of it.
I have no idea why Wardley is paying him, what for other than to hold his spit bucket?Comment
