Canelho isnt ever fighting Benavidez. He's to scared plus he isnt good enough to beat puny Crawford

I cant think of anybody, at this time under heavy weight to beat Benevides. Opetai looks slow in comparison. If Benevidez can operate at 175, move back down, that might be a trick he can pull.

Buff Guy Jai has far faster feet than Fat Dave

so does Top Soviet Bivol

for cruiser he has added 5 pounds of muscle for a fit walking weight of 210

175 now would be a bigger cut than before when he was a fit walking 205

he slowed down in each of the final 4 rounds vs Gvozdyk and Cuban Dave

I see him slowing down sooner than before due should he fight at 175 again due to the extra cut

There's zero reason he couldn't have went straight to opetaia who was the number 1 ranked ring champion. But he knew zurdo had the perfect style for him to look like a beast. I know of one instance where Fat Dave turned down a Buff Guy Artur fight. Fat Dave was holding out for a Saul Santos fight and wanted to continue weight bullying at 168

Now, Benavidez has fought good opponents. Look at the list of fighters—if you’re ignorant about boxing, you probably won’t recognize any of them, but I’ll let you know who they are:
Gavril (WBC), Dirrell (WBC), Andrade (WBO), Plant (IBF), Morell (WBA), Gvozdyk (WBC), Lemieux (IBF), and now Ramírez (WBO), and he’s still looking for Canelo.
So don’t tell me he hasn’t fought anyone.

We all still want to see Fat Dave against a great opponent

at this point in time great opponents include Buff Guy Jai & Top Soviet Bivol

this version of Buff Guy Artur would be a very good or good opponent. Saul Santos is a good opponent these days

If he gets by Mbilli - its a very easy fight for Benav. at 175 - Canelo would be better off to unify with Munguia assuming the latter still has his belt.

Fighters know fighters and Canelo knows Benavidez is too much for him. That's why he made up excuses not to fight him early on. He wants to go out winning, I assume, but the opponent needs to be somewhat of a threat without being too difficult.

whatever shot Saul Santos had against Fat Dave is gone

at this point only edge Saul Santos has is power

maybe chin too but this version of Santos is easier to hit clean
