Beterbiev has superior Ring IQ; great skills and movement. His power is there. he is 1-1 with Bivol because Bivol is elite fighter himself.
Age is catching up to Artur. He knows that he only has so many fights left. Job #1 for him should be to face 35-year-old Bivol for the tiebreaker third time. If he wins, then he can either retire as the unified champ or dare to face Benavidez for the undisputed title. However, I think that facing 29-year-old Benavidez first will take too much out of him to face Bivol afterwards.

But like i said judges are bad and or corrupt everywhere. Would you trust a fair verdict if the fight takes place in Russia? I'm open for the experiment to be honest but i guess Benavidez dont fancy that idea.
definitely don't see the fight happening in Russia

Top Soviet Bivol only fights randoms in Russia

Buff Guy Artur hasn't fought in Russia once

I do not believe Russia cares enough about boxing to fund big fights

Talking about Morrell i saw an interview of him after the fight cancellation and he looked heavier than ever before i hope he can make weight this weekend sometimes when a fights is cancelled fighters blow up completely out of control in a few days/weeks.
Morrell = Fat Cuban Dave, now.

Maybe, just maybe he can't care less about him... What do you think about Bivol taking on Eifert after rejecting a full payday in Russia for Beterbiev 3.0 ? ... or Benavidez ducking Beterbiev not once but twice (2020, 2025) and going the easy route vs Zurdo ? Time is ticking for Artur... No time for sub-par opposition unlike Bivol... So be it... Benny and Bivol running away just makes his stock rise even more ...

It surely made sense to stay sharp at his age. I always viewed it as a marking time fight.
