There isn't anyone at Cruiserweight who can make a compelling fight with Benavidez besides Jai. If it was up to me it would be Beterbie because I want to see that before he gets too old. Bivol and Jai are young enough where he can fight them later on.

Was a satisfactory explanation ever given for him not taking the Nicholson fight? What's he waiting for?

        no one knows

his co-trainer John iceman scully would regularly post in here recently and made no mention of why he pulled out

Fighting Nick on Fat Dave’s undercard would have set up Buff Guy Artur Fat Dave for yesterday

You don't think 41 is too old? 41 is ancient compared to 34 and 34 feels ancient compared to 26 - take it from me - every 3 years there is a decline and at 41 I'd say there's a decline every 6-12 months.

Do this and get rid of that bridgerweight division.

He probably is too old and I can't see him winning against Benavidez. Right now, Benavidez needs to fight the very best that they can find. Beterbiev is one of them despite his age. Bivol, Jai, and maybe Callum Smith are all interesting fights at a certain degree. Whittaker? Buatsi? Miakaelyan? He kills them all. We're basically watching at this point just to see how fast Benavidez will KO someone.

Callum the inactive jeet gets his ass whooped silly

I'd even take a Cuban Dave rematch he's far more deserving of a payday than Callum the inactive jeet

Top Soviet Bivol outboxes Fat Dave

Buff Guy Jai edges it out in a bloody war with Fat Dave

Fat Gilbert was a warning of what not to do against Fat Dave: standing in the pocket coming forward trying to bully him without one punch ko power

everyone now knows the recipe for getting ucked up by Fat Dave

the skilled ones will avoid this recipe for disaster

I cant think of anybody, at this time under heavy weight to beat Benevides. Opetai looks slow in comparison. If Benevidez can operate at 175, move back down, that might be a trick he can pull.
