It was a VERY close fight which Usyk won by having that Brilliant 8th. The story of the fight was that one round separating them

The narrative that it was easy in any way for Usyk is pure nonsense, and only peddled because Fury is a hated villain in boxing while Usyk is almost deified. There's really clear bias and if enough people say Usyk won easy then people start believing it.
I had Fury winning the first fight. I was following the scores live on social media as well and most people had Fury winning 6 of the first 7 rounds, he also won at least 1 on most score cards of 11 and 12 too, but because Usyk won, and "almost" scored a KO, people have rewritten history over the first 7 rounds. I had Fury 114-113, possibly 115-112 in fight 1, thought Usyk won the rematch 116-112. Nash out - His Majesty

Personally I had Usyk up by 1 going into the 12th, then I gave Usyk the 12th so Usyk by 2

For me the difference was that 8th round, razor close fight that Usyk shaded due to better fitness IMO

second fight, yeah 8-4, quite a dull affair, Fury piled on a load of weight and didn't use it, poor tactics, should have just worked on his fitness and approached the fight the same as the first one in which he didn't do much wrong except getting caught once in that 8th round imo.

I gave Fury Round 12 clear. Usyk landed a bit more, but 90% of the significant punches were from Fury. I felt he dominated round 12 tbh. Nash out - His Majesty

No way it was the same Fury. You don't prep for Mak the same way you prefer for Usyk. They're night and day differences and the Fury that prepped for Usyk was the best possible Fury you could have ever gotten.

I never said it was easy, though I don't think the early rounds in those cards were close to the truth in the first fight.

Usyk was also behind on the cards against Joshua late in the first fight. Did he go 'life and death' with him too?

And he was losing on the cards v Bellew too. Almost a pattern here isn't there? It's often close with him until he steps on the gas.

The fact is he fought those fighters twice each and across 4 close sets of scorecards, he clearly won 4 times.

Fury will peddle the narrative that he won. It's what he does. Just as he claimed he boxed Wlad's ears off. And he claims that he didn't fight due to mental health.

They were competitive fights, fights that Usyk won but no life and death battle. Different types of fighters produce different results wouldn't you know. Usyk is a smaller HW who relies on high boxing IQ finding openings and being defensively responsible while being offensive whereas Mak is actually a smaller bear they just shaved and put boxing gloves on.

I see where you're coming from, but I really believe styles make fights! I was just debating this exact topic with my brother over coffee yesterday morning. We actually almost missed the main event because our app locked us out, and I had to quickly pull up the fox sports phone number to reset our account access just in time. Honestly, Fury notoriously fights to the level of his competition. He looked sloppy against Ngannou, but Usyk’s footwork and boxing IQ are on a completely different planet. You can't discredit Usyk’s greatness just because Fury struggles with heavy power punchers sometimes.

Fury is guilty of fighting to his opponents level

He gets fat, he drinks does coke all that between fights and how motivated he comes in depends on who he's facing
