Where bigotry and greed have contaminated your land of the free. And it has poisoned your soul, like many others. Brother you need to cleanse yourself of these horrible values or you will perish.
No one who drinks any form of alcohol on a regular basis can be perfectly healthy. It's not possible. You couldn't get me to drink if you pointed a Kalashnikov at my head.

Wait what? You have a better chance of dying from lung cancer from jogging in NYC than cirrhosis by drinking a glass of wine once in a while. Listen brother, maybe you have a trauma from alcoholism in your family or surrounding, And yes drinking too much is really bad for you, but it's not quite the poison you make it out to be. But even if that were the case, why would you rather die instantly from a gun shot? (Again, you have a better chance of dying from a gun wound in NYC than from an alcohol related disease.)

If it's such a horrible and stressful city (and it is), what would possess people from France, Belgium, Lithuania and Argentina to visit like they do? We gets TONS of tourists daily. I know because on the few occasions I ride the subway, I see them scurrying to and fro with their suitcases.
You speak the truth brother! NYC is horrible. And to think it was way worse in the 90's! I was there in 1993 to see James Blood Ulmer at the Knitting Factory. Incredible show! But the city was apocalyptic. Violence, gangs, r a p e s and murders, corrupted cops, garbage and litter everywhere. People were cold and harsh. Never went back... But the thing is, NYC has been running on it's reputation that dates back to the late 19th century, as the essence of America, where anything can happen, you can go from rags to riches. Then FFW to the 50's with the jazz clubs, and later with the Disco era or the 80's. But for me it has always been over hyped.

Yessss Brother! You are starting to see the light, slowly moving out of the cave of negativity! Good for you!

I was never in a cave of anything. I simply don't believe the same type of Disney bullsht that you do about people and life. Most people are only for themselves, and in time, you will eventually come to realize this. Believing that most people you encounter will have your back is a prescription for calamity. Put the video games down.
I am not a Disney fan brother, i believe in hope! (Not the O b a m a hope, cause he was just as bad as all the other crooks). People without community are like orphans: they are missing something. They are plants without any roots.

            Is that true?

Do you have a source for that?

I don't live in Small Town, MO. I live in a huge city where most people are scrambling like crabs in a barrel. As long as you're not rich, you're just another crab.

As for alcohol, there roughly 1800 death directly related to it in NYC.
