    Wine = A 6-pack of cheap ale

    You admitted to being a druggie. Now you admit to being an alcoholic. I give you another 2-3 years before your major organs begin shutting down. I had an aunt who developed cirrhosis of the liver in the 80s. She exhibited many of the same spiteful and delusional character traits you exhibit.

Plus like i said i'm retired, and occupy my time with creative and rewarding activities. That what you need brother! A fulfilling hobby, to held you get a positive outlook on life. As for that chip on your shoulder, i understand it's a bit of a nuisance... And getting harder and harder to hide, as you seem to feel the need to prove yourself on a boxing site to a stranger. But brother I do see a glimpse of positivity in your desire to express certain frustrations regarding the real world. Out with the bad, to create room for the good! I believe in you brother!
      We use the terms college/University interchangeably here. My prayers for your parents. I'm sure they are/were good people like mine were. My father had heart disease my mother had Parkinson's Disease.

      I'm retired now too. Unlike you, I'm a realist, while you see the world through the eyes of a Disney character, which is quite sad. I'm not saying that all people are inherently evil, but to perceive most as inherently good is foolhardy. Get down on your luck or lose your source of income and see how many come to your aid. This isn't bitterness I'm expressing, but reality. The reality is that most people wouldn't notice you if you were lying in a puddle of piss on the sidewalk. I live in New York. Trust me when I say what I'm saying. I bet you live out in the countryside where your nearest neighbor is 3 miles away.

      This "chip" on my shoulder you perceive is merely a realistic view of the world and human nature. When I was a little boy growing up, my father said then about people and human nature the same things I'm saying to you here on this thread. At the time, I thought he was just expressing bitterness, but as I got older, most of what he said was true. Btw, my father was in the military (82nd Airborne) in the early 1950s and boxed there. He was far from a "crank".

        What? LOL No, not according to my doctor. I'm really healthy. I train 5 times a week. Plus I have good friends, which is also important, because mental health affects general health. Which brings me to you brother. Your negativity is making you sick. Not only do you not have real friends to support you, you live in a sick country, where selfishness and ruthlessness reign. Where bigotry and greed have contaminated your land of the free. And it has poisoned your soul, like many others. Brother you need to cleanse yourself of these horrible values or you will perish.

          But that's exactly what i mean. You think I have no idea what the real world is like, but brother i come from a poor family, in a rough neighbourhood. But even there, there were good people, who would share their only meal of the day. Yes people can be selfish and mean. but the vast majority aren't. It's the rich and powerful, and the government who want us to be animals, so they can reigh more easily by dividing us. You need to believe in man, and his quest to be good. Be part of the solution, not the problem.

            I don't believe that most people are inherently evil. I also don't believe that most people are inherently good either. Most reside somewhere in-between, depending upon circumstances and convenience.

              What "horrible values" do you refer to? You only know that I have little faith in humankind. Other than that, what do you really know about me? Other than osteoarthrosis in my hip, I'm in very good health. I don't drink, have never used drugs and gave never smoked. The last taste of alcohol I've had was in 2006, and that was a Coors Light.

                It doesn't matter, it's mostly about genetics anyway. But that Coors light may trigger something. It has to be the worst beer in the universe. And also you will be a victim of the pollution or your city. Air and water pollution, but also spiritual! You live in a horrible city, which itself is in a sick country., governed by sick greedy monsters.

                    I was never in a cave of anything. I simply don't believe the same type of Disney bullsht that you do about people and life. Most people are only for themselves, and in time, you will eventually come to realize this. Believing that most people you encounter will have your back is a prescription for calamity. Put the video games down.

                      I was never a drinker and haven't touched a drop of alcohol since 2006. I'd have to agree about the quality of life in NYC, but what's puzzling is the amount of tourists who kill themselves to come here. If it's such a horrible and stressful city (and it is), what would possess people from France, Belgium, Lithuania and Argentina to visit like they do? We gets TONS of tourists daily. I know because on the few occasions I ride the subway, I see them scurrying to and fro with their suitcases.
