Is Zuffa just adding to the "belt" problem?

In the short term at least but who cares? The situation is already farcical so if a byproduct of the attempted Zuffa takeover is the death of a few sanctioning bodies then that's a good outcome by itself. There are currently four guys calling themselves heavyweight champion even though the real champion (who's about to fight a kickboxer) holds three belts. Doesn't get more farcical than that and none of it is Zuffa's fault.

The belts or titles have never been the problem 'I think having more titles, can sometimes be a positive. Because they can create narratives and increase the prestige of boxing events. Especially when you have two fighters that are not mega stars'.

But then there is a level in boxing, where the fighters alleviate themselves beyond the belts 'fighters such as Floyd Mayweather Junior, Mike Tyson, Manny Pacquiao and Oleksandr Uysk are fighters who in my opinion have reached this level in recent times'.

Note: The issue arises when? Fight organisations don't follow strict rules and regulations. Or if they want to somehow marginalize the sport, in the case of Zuffa Boxing.

The fact of the matter is, most people with society 'have no idea the significance of World titles. The most historical significant, and most prestigious title in boxing is still the Olympic title by miles'.

Boxing is about theatre, and narrative driven fights 'if those types of fights are being made, then this is what makes the sport great. The titles add to the prestige and significance of fights'.

To conclude: So overall Zuffa Boxing will not be a problem to boxing, if they just aim to make great fights 'it will only become a issue, if they have this distorted ambition to take over the sport. And turn a truly open class global sport into a franchise sport, which consist of a few hundred active fighters i.e. that is essentially what the UFC is as a product'.

The UFC has zero World Champions, Global World Champions don't exist in franchise sports 'you only have champions of the franchise for which they are competing in, against a talent pool which is nowhere near the vastness of Global boxing' etc.

Doesnt take away the facts of what I stated. Their futbol programming alone, is dope af, and brings in more money than boxing will ever

Why are you talking about football? This is a boxing forum and my point was about boxing.

DAZN tried to take over boxing and failed miserably.
