Benn will fight as Zuffa fighter but on Ring Cards. Turki will pay. The next signings will be Ryan Garcia, Shakur and maybe Haney. They will line up Benn with one of these guys. Ryan might go into depression for the next years if he losses to Barrios but Haney and Shakur are very likely

Brits sodomizing Brits!!! I know it's a british tradition, sodomy being inscribed in the Brit people's DNA, but still... "First and foremost, I want to thank Eddie and the entire team at Matchroom for everything they’ve done for me over the past decade..." hahahahahahahahaahaha Fack you Eddie hahahahahahaahah oh God this is priceless!Last edited by steeve steel; 02-20-2026, 06:46 PM.Comment

Truly ungrateful behaviour by Benn. when he couldn't get a UK licence to fight Hearn bent over backwards to get him dates in the US. Throughout all the cheating Hearn always stood by him when he could've quite easily just fuqed him off...Comment

Hard to feel sorry for Eddie, but he really did give everything for for Conor. Never seen a promoter back a boxer like Eddie did Conor.
Hopefully there is more to it than just money... Sleeping at night is important.
On another note. If Zuffa can turn Conor, they'll all start running that way. Clearly Turki is paying a lot more than people believed. It just got real.Last edited by M312; 02-20-2026, 07:17 PM.Comment

Personally think this was dana reaching into his own pockets to get one over hearn, simple as that. Connor benn aint no world draw, so if the numbers are true $10mil for zuffa debut fight then this was a dirty play by dana to get one over hearn. Nothing more, Connor will know it but hes clearly more motivated by money then loyalty or glory of the sport as im sure hearn was gonna try and get him a shot at the winner of barrios v garcia by autumnComment

Not honorable from Connor tbf but understandable
And I don't see what would make him an attraction for a non-British promoter. He's not a proven boxer.
He's not won a British title yet but he's a name and an attraction........in England.
Even British casuals aren't pretending this guy is a world class boxer but he got paid elite money for 2 fights with a pretty compromised Eubank Jr.
I can't imagine they are expecting any ROI on Benn. It's just more of a statement I guess.
Benn will likely get wallopped by any top level world champion. So for him I can't blame him. He's won the lottery for a THIRD time.
He's being brought in as an attraction...but he isn't.
How would you even match him? Paying a fighter elite money when in all likelihood there is no evidence he can compete at world level.

Benn lost to an average Eubank Jr. then beat a shell of an average fighter that was poor on the night , apart from being the son of a good world champion ( who wouldn't go near James Toney) he hasn't much a claim to anything , he will be a waste of money and no doubt get found out at a heifer level that he's never been part of . I hope for some things I'm wrong but he's proved nothing to say I am.Comment

I said it once and I'll say it again...NO DOUBLE DIPPING. For those that sign with Zuffa boxing then you are DEAD to us. Eddie should never welcome him back after his stint with ZXuffa is over. All others should be trerated the same!!!Comment

He only backed Benn for the drug test as he was his investment, and to still make money off him future fights such as Eubank. He had the name and built a profile where he was getting the views, Eubank fights boosted his profile even more. Big L from Eddie not having him signed to a contract. No one is loyal Eddie has his own interests. He did not back Benn because of loyalty and friendship he backed him cause he was one of his big names for his companyHard to feel sorry for Eddie, but he really did give everything for for Conor. Never seen a promoter back a boxer like Eddie did Conor.

Same way when Whyte was on a fight by fight basis he backed his failed drug tests when he was one of the big names and hid the test from everyone. Same thing as Whyte was making him money and PPVs. Fast forward when Whyte was washed and failed another test and AJ rematch got cancelled, did he back Whyte about test, no, not even a word of backing, why because he was basically washed at that point outside of the AJ rematch they tried to sell Whyte was not going to be a regular headliner ppv at that point. Do not feel sorry for any of them. They will all do what is best for their financial interest.Last edited by Boxing 112; 02-20-2026, 07:29 PM.👍 1Comment

Who could you put Benn for that big purse that is a name that he could win?
A 45-year-old Pacman maybe? I'm struggling to see another play. It will be something weird.Comment
