Conor Benn signs with Zuffa Boxing

5 fight deal according to Dana White.
The "one fight deal" was definitely a front load so Eddie couldn't match it
No clue how this will work, he's "signed to Zuffa" but will he actually fight on Zuffa cards? Doesn't seem like it and he's talking about fighting Garcia for the WBC but Zuffa don't want to work the the other orgs they said?
Not making much senseComment

How would they legitimize their fighters if their fighters don't fight and beat world champions or fighters at least close to that level?5 fight deal according to Dana White.

Yeah I agree but that's just what they said, they said when they did their whole media launch that they "won't be working with other promoters and won't be recognizing the sanctioning body belts"
I think their whole thing was to make Zuffa the boxing version of the UFC where they have their own solo belt and everyone fights under that banner.
They seem to be aborting that. Who knows.Comment

Works when you have a closed system like UFC where fighters have to be invited and once they sign they can't fight for anyone but UFC, alot more moving parts in boxing and free reign.

I'm quite sure this is, or at leas was their plan.
Turki said on the media launch he wants to "take out all other promoters in boxing".Comment

Conor Benn just signed a new multi-fight, multi-year deal with Dana White's Zuffa Boxing. He initially left Matchroom back in February for a one-fight deal with Zuffa (where he fought Regis Prograis), but apparently, that went well enough that they’ve now locked him in for five fights over the next two and a half years.
