you keep putting the fighter through training camps in hand wraps, gloves and hitting. Paul has any number of options at his disposal, 154 and clottey etc... Very frystrating. I think pavlik is already guilty of not realizing he needs a new trainer to take him to the next level and now he has to see that he is also being grossly mismanaged.
Yea his whole team has failed him, hopefully his hand will turn be ok in time and nothing to serious comes of it. Untill he is 100% there is no need to hear about him other then that he will be alright (when they actually know that for sure).

I think Kelly is guilty of being naive and his team (minus Arum and Dunkin) have proven to be aswell. Arum needs to take the bull by the horns and get his man looked after since no one else seem to be doing it.

Here was his hand a month or so ago. You can see the skin damage. What you cannot see is the damage under the skin. If it is true and he cannot close his hand, he will end up with more operations and possible grafting to try to reverse the problem. He might be sidelined for a long time. Before you bozos talk more sh|t in here, it was a medical professional who advised him that his hand should be healed enough to be cleared for December 5th.

my pleasure. thank for not calling me a board **** in response.

Curious to see where HBO goes from here. They ruined their summer by watching a bunch of dates reserved for GBP fall through, and responded by screwing over Shane/GBP for the sake of pleasing Pavlik/Top Rank.

This is now the 2nd empty date Pavlik/Top Rank has left HBO with; you have to believe that Top Rank Caucasian Fury might be in Pavlik's immediate future. It doesn't make sense to keep giving him dates in hopes that he's finally medically cleared to fight. And not just wait for the day that he's cleared, but let him train for a month or so afterwards.

Also curious to see how this news is handled by the American press. Vitali Klitschko was raked through the coals, even accused of ducking Hasim Rahman of all people, after a series of injuries forced him to repeatedly postpone and eventually cancel the fight and fade away for a few years.

Don't really see the difference between the two situations, yet I expect things to be far more apologetic when discussing Pavlik.

Paul just needs to move on and handle his business, **** happeans he did get screwed so just take that out on the next guy he is fighting. He is young still and has a lot of time to make up for this lost time but he needs to get to work.

It does suck for Williams but he is not in any danger of his career comming to an end that is a real possibility for Pavlik since this has gone on a long ass time.

It is actually very unprofessional of Jack Loew to keep it a secret, the **** was already lingering on before all this came out. Staph needs to be dealt with if just allowed to linger and get worse it could easily lead to amputation, he is suppose to be looking out for Kelly bad look for Loew.

I am sure Kelly wanted to try and tough it out but it is a trainers job to keep a fighter from making things worse, so he failed big time.
