Have you ever had Staph? It could have started out as a few blisters on his hand. He probably thought nothing of it. He felt it would go away because he had nothing to compare it to. By the time he was told what it really was it had entered deeper into his tissue causing serious if not permanent damage. i dont blame them for being reluctant to put pavlik in the ring against williams at anything less then 100%. I dont think they want a repeat of whatever the issue was with hopkins

I don't want to be the one guy to defend Pavlik but.. They had a picture of his hand when he did the Presser with Williams and the New York Giants. That wasn't long ago at all and even then it looked like his hand was dipped in boiling water. I just don't understand why they rescheduled when it was still in questionable condition. They need to fire whatever doctor keeps clearing him. It's only serving to make Team Pavlik appear flaky.
