Kelly Pavlik vs Paul Williams is Postponed Once Again

****. I can't believe this.

I know Pacquaio vs Cotto is the most important fight of the year, but Pavlik vs Williams was one I was looking forward to equally as much, a straight up war between two very good young fighters.

But if Pavlik is injured (and I don't doubt the validity of his problems, why else would he has signed to fight?), then he's injured. I would hope they could hold out for another month. Honestly, this fight....sigh. Could have been magnificent.

This sucks. But it is what it is. After I just saw the picture of Pavlik's hand for the first time, I am convinced that his hand is messed up. I'm a little bit disappointed in him for not being more attentive about it for the past few months, but I am not going to accuse him of ducking Paul Williams.

On another note, this date shouldn't go to Shane Mosley unless he gets the balls to fight Paul Williams. He took way less money to fight Berto, because he knows that is an easier fight. And if he would've manned up and accepted that $3 million offer to fight Williams, we wouldn't even be in this position of having to deal with Pavlik.
