Kelly Pavlik vs Paul Williams is Postponed Once Again

Even though I do believe williams beats up pavlik.... i do think his infection is real, and is causing problems... i dont think theres anything he can do about it

This is obviously very serious...I hope he doesn't have career-ending permanent damage to his hand.

Please people, don't jump to conclusions about him ducking Williams. He's not.

My prayers go out to Kelly, I hope he has a complete recovery.

This needs to be said more often. I could honestly care less about Pavlik the fighter but the uninformed need to study up on Staph Infections. People die from this ****. Pavlik's career could be over if he loses any movement in that hand. This infection is like a venom that eats everything in it's patch. Skin, fat, muscle, tendon, etc....

I seriously doubt Pavlik is ducking Paul Williiams or passing up a pay day because he is scared. Williams is a great fighter for sure but not near the puncher that Pavlik has faced in the past.

Let's just hope Pavlik is able to fight again at the world class level.

I don't want to be the one guy to defend Pavlik but.. They had a picture of his hand when he did the Presser with Williams and the New York Giants. That wasn't long ago at all and even then it looked like his hand was dipped in boiling water. I just don't understand why they rescheduled when it was still in questionable condition. They need to fire whatever doctor keeps clearing him. It's only serving to make Team Pavlik appear flaky.

something is clearly wrong with team pavlik as a whole....don't waste your time defending him, because there is no defending him. bottom line, he was supposed to see a doctor about this **** long before the williams fight even began being dicussed.....pavlik blew off his doctor appointments...if his hand looks as bad as you suggest, its his fault.
