Kelly Pavlik has a serious condition which could mean the end of his career or even the loss of his hand.

He's not afraid of fighting Paul Williams, and in fact was looking forward to the fight.

People should think before jumping to conclusions about why Kelly can't fight on Dec 5.

Let's pray that Kelly has a speedy recovery, and there's no permanent damage to his hand.

A staph infection can be serious, I hope Pavlik the best.

On the flip side, it's getting to the point where Williams might have more pull then originally. He should try and get a bigger share against Pavlik for these delays. Williams could've already fought twice in this time. Time wasted is money lost, so Pavlik should have to concede some $$$ to Williams.

I agree... even though I think Williams beats Pavlik... it really has nothing to do with Pavlik being forced to postpone again, he is only doing it because he has too.

This has nothing to do with ducking.. I know Pavlik will gladly fight Williams... but if he cant train, then he cant fight.

bottom line is, when something is wrong with you, usually the earlier you get it diagnosed/treated, the better the outcome.

reports came out that pavlik missed many appointments he had scheduled to deal with this ****....BEFORE the williams fight even came about.

you don't need an encyclopedia, or a medical degree to point blame in this situation.

It's just frustration more than anything. I'm super pissed about it. This is the fight I am most looking forward to that is made.

Hell, maybe Williams ends up fighting Dzinziruk or Martinez at 154... either of those would make up for the loss of this fight IMO.
