I believe Jaron is stuck in the Terrance Crawford zone and I don't see anyone close to the competitive nature of a prime Errol Spence. People forget Errol Spence was willing to fight anyone at any time, anyone. The man went against his team's advice to make the Crawford fight. Spence and Crawford were competitive animals and like it or not, Ortiz Jr is not that guy.
In the end, without an opponent that dares to be great, Jaron will need to do something very risky or take very short money like Uysk and still, he'll have difficulty finding opponents.
Crawford zone? Bootsy ducked Bud who was making nothing but mandatory and voluntary defenses and the turned down his offer b4 he beat the brakes off Spence!
