Just a tragedy, Losing 2 close friends in this day and age where true friendship is hard to find and maintain is unfathomable to me.

Terrible to go through something like this. Some friends become more than some family members.

'The 80-mile stretch has claimed 73 lives in the past three months and a total of 645 over the past two years'

damn what a horrible road to travel on

on top of this it seems AJ was in one of the killing seats at the front when he was asked to move seats by the driver as he was blocking his view, incredible stuff really

driver seems to be saying brakes failed which seems like an ole chestnut to come out with, some reports say tire failed some dont, most if not all say he was speeding when it happened but he was a driver for AJ for 3 years it seems too so was well known

Thoughts with AJ. Not sure how this will affect him in regards to his boxing career; it's enough to completely change someone. If his last fight is one where he balanced and rotated the jaw of Jake Paul, then he would have went out on a high note IMO.

I've seen the unedited aftermath of the crash. It's likely to lead to PTSD imo.

One of my best buds passed away last year. He was one of the only guys i felt comfortable to smoke weed, cigarettes and drink beers with.

I have this policy of only doing all 3 or not at all in a safe space with safe people. Consequently, i don't indulge much but when i do i get hammered.

We'd sit on the back of my deck and talk endless amounts of shït; that good good shït where we'd solve the worlds problems and move on to solving Gods. And we would laugh like there was no tomorrow.

I can barely sit there now without wanting to call him up and organize what id call a triple threat. Sometimes i need to move to another space so i dont feel that. There is no more tomorrow with him.

For AJ it must be so much more difficult. His buds were workmates, trainers, holiday accompanees. Not just once a month drinking buds. They were bro's, family. Losing that is so much rougher to deal with.

Even getting into an SUV would likely trigger PTSD responses, let alone training and having someone else touch you for stretches, spotting, holding heavy bags...whatever.

I hope he manages to just cope and survive. Thriving and picking up his career ?...meh, flag that. Find something else that adds value, gives meaning and is of substance to fill the gap.

I dont think he's gonna find peace and balance in the ring, under the spotlight, in front of millions. Money will never replace what he's lost and he cant just buy new ones.

Dude needs a new purpose is what the universe is saying, imo. Listen, but don't act. Choose and then do, with the same ruthless intent and impeccable timing a warrior always lives by.

I seen that those videos too that were going around

If AJ seen them bodies of his best friends in that condition then it's certainly a huge mental toll
