Wilder got old in the ring early in Wilder-Fury II and the decline has been steep ever since. He needs to hang them up soon, for his own good. Yes, the short nature of many of his fights will have helped prolong his career, but he has been on the wrong end of a number of brutal KOs in a few fights and that takes something out of you even without factoring in being 40 years old.
