Boxing loves selling us bs. If these guys were really bout that life, they wouldve fought years ago. I dont wanna hear anything about joshua v fury or aj vs wilder. They had the world in the palm of their fuggin hand and blew it. Now they want us to come back and save their “superfight”. Nothing “super” about that shid. Its almost as bad as jake paul vs aj or Jake vs anybody. Im not with it

The only thing Jake competed with AJ at was who had the worst taste in jewellery.

Those crass, garish neck chains they were wearing were an affront to the eyeballs.
you must not be in the entertainment industry

entertainers can get away with wearing what would be gaudy on us

David Benavidez also wore a ridiculously big chain when I saw him at the club

On second thought, this article is the worst thing to happen in boxing this weekend. And that is saying a lot

I agree. Fury has been fairly tame, by his standards. He seems... almost happy? Maybe stepping away from boxing and taking some time to enjoy what he has earned has done him some good. He really is more of a showman than a boxer at this point. He can make a serious bag of coin in this social media driven day and age without someone slamming his innards with counter punches. I am not sure at all he comes back either, even for Saudi cash.

Disagree entirely. Joshua vs. Fury is the right fight to make for both of them. It needs to happen before they both retire (for good). I don't believe Joshua has slipped quite as much as people are making out, nor do I think Fury was ever quite as good as people said he was. It's still a really compelling fight imo, probably the most compelling in the division even now.

You had a super-heavyweight chasing a cruiserweight around a gigantic ring. Of course he couldn't just blast him out of there. Jake had no intention of winning a single second of the fight--bar the occasional hail mary--and was instead solely hell-bent on surviving as long as he could. It was hard to watch and nobody came out of it looking good, but to act like it's an indication that Joshua doesn't have it at the top level anymore is a bad take.

The writer is talking a lot of nonsense here. It doesn't matter anyway, Fury will never find the balls to fight AJ. That fight will never happen.

They are both a similar level.
                  Neither is a great.
Both have played a huge role in keeping the heavyweight division, and consequently boxing, alive. Especially in the UK. Both are equally well known.
Fury did WWE, AJ beat Jake Paul. So similar with casual fans.
                  Both have achieved similar.
                  Both are probably washed up.

What's the big deal? If you don't want to watch it, don't.

I whole hartley agree we're better off without it, i hope Fury enjoys his new tax haven home with his family.

You bigged up early Ajs achievements to much. Whyte was ranked 24 at the time they boxed, It was 2 london lads having a local scrap, that's like saying okolie beating tetteh shows hes a serious contender. & beating Martin... Probably the worst belt holder in the history of boxing & Klitchko a shot (proven by Fury toying with him) 2 years retired 41 year old. I never understood the fascination, hes never beaten a prime elite heavyweight.
